Description of heritage

  • Descriptif du centre d'interprétation
The castle is located in the centre of a pond that acts as a moat. The sleeping bridge has replaced a drawbridge and gives access to the old gate of the postern from the 11th and 15th centuries. The south-western round tower must date from this early period. In the 17th century a long dwelling was built. A wooden staircase with a double elipse spiral staircase, dating from the end of the 18th century, leads to the first floor. This building is extended at right angles to the east by a wing that joins the circular tower to the south-west. To the east is a small outbuilding, as well as a cylindrical fuye.
